I&P is glad to share the story of SetTIC, a Senegalese company specializing in the treatment of corporate waste (waste electrical and electronic equipment, waste characterization audits and special waste recycling).
SetTIC was founded in 2013 and is run by two women engineers, Boussoura Talla and Julie Repetti, who specialize in information and communication technologies and the environment.
- Julie Repetti is a graduate engineer from the Ecole des Mines de Douai, specializing in environment, industry and strategic business management, with over six years' professional experience. She began her career as an environmental safety engineer at EDF, then held project management positions at Alcatel Lucent and Nokia.
- Boussoura Talla Gueye is a graduate engineer from INSA Toulouse, specializing in information and communication technologies, with over ten years' professional experience.
SetTIC is financed by I&P Accélération au Sahel, a program supported by the European Union aimed at start-ups and small businesses in the Sahel region, with one main objective: to give them access to the financing and skills they need to grow and create jobs.
