Last Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Azalaï Hotel in Bamako, I&P in partnership with Zira Capital and the European Union organized an information meeting to present I&P Acceleration in Sahel (IPAS), a program dedicated to young companies in the Sahel sub-region.
Sutura (2AD)
Sutura (also know as 2AD) is a company producing and marketing sanitary pads in Bamako, Mali. The main mission of Sutura is to reduce the taboo around menstruation and to help teenagers and young girls to blossom during their menstrual cycle by offering them adapted and environmentally friendly sanitary pads.
The entrepreneurs
The company was created by Awa and Adam Drabo, two twin sisters who both completed internships at the National Laboratory of Mali and the Institute of Rural Economy of Mali (IER) before launching into entrepreneurship in 2019. Awa manages the production and the purchase of raw materials, the storage and the management of the relationship with the different suppliers. Adam handles the sales and marketing side and manages the brand's communication on the various social networks.

Pâtisserie Les Douceurs was created by Mrs. Safiatou OUEDRAOGO-YABRE, a trained cook-pastry chef with more than 27 years of experience with the SERVAIR group and in the hotel industry.

E'Santé
E'Santé is a startup based in Cameroon specialized in home medicine, telemedicine and family medicine services accessible through its online platform.
The entrepreneur
E'Santé was founded by Dr Philippe OHANDJA AYINA, an entrepreneur with a passion for medicine and connected technology.
Graduated with a doctorate in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Douala and a university diploma in Connected Health from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Paris Descartes, he started his professional career as a general practitioner at the Ad Lucem medical foundation in Douala where he practiced for 3 years before joining the Louis-Pasteur clinic in the same city. His passion for health and technology led him to follow a specialized training in telemedicine in France. After this training, he spent 8 months as a general practitioner in the emergency department of the Groupe hospitalier public du sud de l'Oise. It was during this experience that he discovered telemedicine and, motivated by his entrepreneurial spirit and desire, decided to launch E-santé.

Adji Graphic Services (AGS)
ADJI GRAPHIC SERVICES (AGS) is a printing company in Niger.
The entrepreneur
The company was created by Maman Moussa, who had a career in printing, notably at the Nouvelle Imprimerie du Niger (NIN), a company in which he worked for 36 years before founding his own printing company. Mr. Moussa has a degree in law and has benefited from several capacity building trainings acquired in Niger, Tunisia, and France. He has thus developed experience and technical skills in three areas: graphic creation of visuals, composition and layout, creation of multiple graphic works and layout (collection of laws and regulations of Niger).

This partnership aims at funding the acquisition of more modern equipment facilitating faster production with new production processes and better rendering. Fa Confection by Naty is a young company specialized in traditional and professional clothes and articles in Senegal.

Fa Confection was founded by Aminata Ka, a Senegalese entrepreneur with a passion for fashion design. She holds a master's degree in International Business from the American Business School in Paris and has a strong experience in the banking sector in France and in Senegal.

Gona Maroquinerie
Gona Maroquinerie is an Ivorian company specializing in leather goods, particularly in the production of office items (conference folders, diaries), handbags or travel bags, pocket items, watch straps, wallets, and other accessories made of leather and imitation leather.
The entrepreneur
The company was founded by Jean Cyrille Ahoua Gona in 2014.
Autodidact, Mr. Ahoua is now a specialist in leather goods and shoe repair and has more than 33 years of experience in this sector. Accountant training, he began his professional career, far from the craft, as a sales manager in a company of Import / Export. Attracted by the idea of learning a trade, he left the company after two years and started working in the shoe industry.
His talent and his commitment to the leather goods sector have enabled him to win several prizes and distinctions at the national and sub-regional level :
