For this reason, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), MIARAKAP, and the private sector have co-created and co-funded MITSIRY. As part of the alliance, USAID's $5 million in funding will leverage an additional $7.5 million from the private sector.

- 4.5 million in grant funding
- 7.5 million in private sector co-financing

and to finance and incubate start-ups to help new entrepreneurs integrate social and environmental impacts into their business models:
- 24 grantees
- 500,000 USD in seed money
- Up to 2 years of incubation
For seed funding, the target sectors of activity are: renewable energy, agriculture, ecotourism, environmental education, beekeeping, aquaculture, agroforestry and waste management, spread over 4 to 24 months and allows to benefit from funding of $ 5 to 45 000 in the form of repayable advances.
