Ibrahima Ba

Ibrahima Ba is Director of Operations at Teranga Capital, an I&P partner.

After some twenty years' experience in private sector development support and business management, Ibrahima joined the team in February 2023. Before joining Teranga Capital, he spent 8 years setting up and developing the local branch of an international network of SME managers (Enablis Entrepreneurial Network), and managing the design and implementation of multi-sectoral programs to promote entrepreneurship. Ibrahima previously worked as a competitiveness specialist for the Comité d'Orientation et de Suivi de la Stratégie de Croissance accélérée at the Senegalese Prime Minister's Office, and as a consultant and technical advisor to several international consulting firms (DAI Global, Chemonics, MSI, IRG, EnCompass, JE Austin...) on various projects to support private sector development in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.

Ibrahima holds a Master's degree in Development Practice (MDP) with a specialization in Economics from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Howard University in Washington DC.
