Isabelle Barrès

Isabelle Barrès is Impact Director at Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), joining the team in 2025 after more than 25 years of experience in responsible and inclusive finance.
She has notably contributed to shaping international standards and supporting financial institutions and SMEs in strengthening their social, environmental, and financial performance, notably through pioneering initiatives such as MIX and the Smart Campaign.
From 2007 to 2010, she was part of the launch of Kiva, the world’s first crowdfunding platform dedicated to SMEs. More recently, she has worked on issues related to responsible digitalization and climate change adaptation, in collaboration with public and private stakeholders including the World Bank, WOCCU, and e-MFP.
Isabelle holds a degree in Economics (Université de Montréal), an MBA (McGill University), and a postgraduate diploma in Development. A French-American dual citizen, she is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
