Focus : 

Every year since 2017, I&P has offered a 2.5-day professional training course dedicated to impact investing and featuring high-level experts from French and African impact funds.

The training is structured to encourage the presentation of concrete case studies and the personal reflection of participants.

I&P is thrilled to announce the release of its Annual Impact Report for the year 2023.

The report offers a comprehensive overview of I&P's activities, achievements, and impact throughout the year, showcasing the growth and transformational changes spurred by the organization's commitment to entrepreneurship in Africa.

In a new report entitled “Using Catalytic Capital to Foster African Entrepreneurs in Underserved Markets,” published in partnership with the Catalytic Capital Consortium, I&P showcases the effectiveness of catalytic capital in supporting African SMEs, offering recommendations to expand its use.

Since 2019 with the support of the European Union, I&P has been preparing small and medium-sized enterprises in the Sahelian sub-region for investment through the I&P Acceleration in the Sahel program. Three years after its launch, I&P is proud to present the first lessons of the program, identified following the mid-term evaluation carried out by Dalberg consulting firm.

From June 14 to 17, I&P and The African Club of Entrepreneurs hold the 9th edition of the Entrepreneurs’ seminar. This 3-day training session dedicated to digital gathered about sixty African entrepreneurs operating in a dozen sub-Saharan African countries.

From June 21 to 23, I&P organised the 6th edition of its training course entitled "Becoming a player of the impact investing sector".

Around fifteen participants from 8 different countries (Mali, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, South Africa, the United States, Tunisia, Morocco and France) gathered in Paris for this training course combining plenary sessions and practical workshops, with the support of several speakers from I&P and external experts.

From January, 31st to February, 3rd, I&P organized a regional meeting in Cotonou, Benin, for a training seminar aimed at strengthening the skills of stakeholders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem (accelerators, incubators, public and private intermediaries) and thus promote the development of an SME-friendly environment.

I&P is pleased to present its Annual Impact Report, that presents the collective results of our different programs and funds.

The report presents an overview of I&P's activities and impact methodology and goes through our six impact pillars : developing Africa entrepreneurship, creating decent jobs, providing SDG-aligned goods and services, promoting women's empowerment, strengthening the local economic fabric and fostering environmentally-friendly development.

In Senegal, Concree is one of the most dynamic incubators. In 2022, Concree benefited from Investment Readiness, a 9-month training program from I&P Acceleration in Sahel, funded by the European Union.
