Jérémy Hajdenberg & Sébastien Boyé,
I&P Co-CEO
Dear friends, entrepreneurs, fellow fund managers, finance and impact professionals,
As we begin the new year, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to you. We wish you all an excellent 2026, both professionally and personally.
The past year has been marked by profound changes in the international landscape. The questioning of official development assistance, the end of certain programs, declining aid budgets, and rising geopolitical tensions have permanently altered the frameworks for intervention and financing. These developments reinforce the need for clarity, agility, and accountability.
In this environment, one reality remains: the resilience of the African continent and the dynamism of its entrepreneurs. Despite the shocks, Africa continues to innovate, create value, and generate jobs. It is this energy that we see every day in the companies we finance and support—and that guides I&P's actions.
2025 was a defining year for I&P. We achieved several major milestones: the effective launch of FASA, the first closing of IPAE 3, the renewal of our acceleration programs, decisive progress made by our partner funds, and the ramp-up of our ecosystem activities, which reinforce our role as a key player.
These achievements are the result of a collective effort involving all teams—finance, ecosystem, and cross-functional departments. They demonstrate the strength of our organization and our ability to deliver in a more demanding environment.
Our immediate priorities are clear: to convert the momentum we have built into sustainable, concrete, and measurable results—for the benefit of the businesses we support and the communities they serve.
But 2026 is also a year of planning, to develop new products and support mechanisms for African SMEs, financiers, and ecosystems.
In a world of growing uncertainty, the temptation to focus on the short term is strong. However, financing entrepreneurship—especially where needs are immense—is a long-term endeavor. It requires patience, discipline, trust, and partnerships built over time.
To those who invest, accompany, regulate, support, advise, incubate: thank you. Let's continue this collective effort together. Behind every fund raised, every program launched, every company financed, there are women and men who take risks, create value, and build the future.
