Chairman of the Convergences annual forum, Jean-Michel Severino was heard as moderator on today's opening conference. This second day of the event broke out with an inspiring gathering of high-level speakers :

Etienne Saint-Sernin is an engineer, specialized in renewable energy. His background in the sector includes research and developement, technical support and market consultancy for SMEs, NGOs ans investors, including Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P), both in Europe and Africa.

Every year our ESG/Impacts team collects and agregates a series of impact indicators from our I&P Afrique Entrepreneurs portfolio investees (11 companies this year). Collected figures will serve a global study to measure economic, environmental, social and governance impacts generated by our partners, SMEs located in Sub saharan Africa. 

The Graduate Insitute is a research establishment specialized in teaching International Relations. The core academic reflexion is dedicated to development issues within a view to foster a certain global responsability within the decision-making. 

Jean-Michel Severino tackled this specific theme within the scope of Investisseurs & Partenaires' field of action, Sub-Saharan Africa and explore some possible answers to "What development for Africa ?".

Béchir Malum's works will be exhibited on next April 1st to 15th at the Espace Van Gogh in Arles. His paintings will be exhibited as well as some of the photographs he shot in the companies of I&P's portfolio. Mauritanian artist Oumar Laball will share the event, in a joint introduction to Mauritanian art held by the Club des Jumelages d'Arles-Sagné.

Investisseurs & Partenaires took part to the Africa SMB Forum through the speech given by JM Severino in Casablanca on the opening ceremony of the 1^st Africa SMB Forum called “How to invest in Africa”. This first meeting was held by the Africa SMB platform created in 2012 by Dogad Dogoui, a French-Ivorian entrepreneur and dedicated to the promotion and strengthening of an African network of Small and Medium entrepreneurs.

Investisseurs & Partenaires is now a member of the Association Malagasy des Investisseurs en Capital (Malagasy association for private equity investors).

Olivier Lafourcade, chairman of IPDEV took part to the first edition of The African Philanthropy Forum held in Ethiopia on February 24^th and 25^th.
