CDS, a Mauritanian company offering water and electricity services in the rural zones of the country, particpipated to the 6th international exhibition on renewable energy and the environment in Africa, held in Dakar late April. 

TRIANON BTP Gabon is a construction company created in 2012 by a young team of Gabonese professionals, Folly Koussawo and Seydou Beye. Both of them have been studying and working in France before returning back to Gabon to start TRIANON BTP. We have asked some questions to Folly Koussawo, executive chairman of Trianon.

Sofamac is a senegalese startup specialized in the production of terracota tiles and bricks.

The company has completed the construction of its factory and started production at the beginning of the week, Monday 16th March 2015. Several orders are already under discussion.

Sofamac was born from the association of Senegalese and Spanish entrepreneurs:

Fides Microfinance Sénégal opened, last January, a new agency in the city of Thiès, the third largest city of the country. The microfinance institution pursues its efforts to densify its network in the Northern and Western parts of Senegal. 

In March 2014, I&P partnered with the crowdfunding platform Kiva to fund a water access project, implemented by the Mauritanian company CDS. The new solar pumps have been implemented for more than six months now in the village of Wouloumbouni in Mauritania.

Khadidiatou Nakoulima has followed a particularly interesting career path. Soon after her graduation, Khadidiatou decides, with her brother, to launch a medical network for Women and Children in Senegal. The project materialized in 2011 with the opening of a first medical platform, followed by the opening of a maternity ward in 2013.

The Cameroonian agribusiness company Kawtal, specialized in corn production, plans to develop and diversify its activities in the next few years, as part of a partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture to foster the agricultural potential of the region.
